Position Overview
Join our culinary team as a vital contributor in our kitchen, where your skills will shine. Whether your expertise lies in savory dishes or sweet creations, this role offers you the chance to demonstrate your culinary talent. As a Culinary Artisan, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests.
- Manage supply orders by initiating requisitions and addressing maintenance needs to uphold our facility's standards.
- Review function sheets and restaurant requisitions to prepare a daily task list.
- Prepare the necessary mise en place for the day’s service.
- Implement effective stock rotation and proper storage practices to minimize waste.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Report any suspicious activities within the kitchen area.
- Organize and prioritize outlet orders and requirements.
- Formal culinary training with a specialization in pastry and baking.
- Minimum of one year of experience at the Cook III level or prior Cook II experience.
- Proficient in various baking techniques, including dough preparation and pastry decoration.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency and high-quality presentation of desserts.
