About the Sales Team

The sales team at Cloudflare consists of Account Executives, Channel Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Operations professionals. Together, they facilitate the adoption of Cloudflare's services, ensuring customers have exceptional Internet-enabled experiences while generating revenue that supports free services for millions.

Role Overview

Cloudflare is in search of a dynamic Senior Strategic Account Executive who is eager to engage with some of the largest enterprises in North America. This role will focus on a select group of accounts, each generating over $1 billion in annual revenue, with the potential to achieve $10 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through Cloudflare's offerings. The Senior Strategic Account Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading Cloudflare's Go-To-Market strategy within Fortune 100 companies.

In this position, you will collaborate with various Cloudflare functions to establish yourself as a strategic partner in our clients' digital transformation journeys. Our unique products and services, combined with our engagement strategies, will set us apart and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and expand a portfolio of high-value enterprise clients.
  • Achieve new business and expansion targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring timely delivery and positioning Cloudflare for success.
  • Develop relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers to align Cloudflare's solutions with their transformative goals.
  • Generate a robust sales pipeline through consistent outreach and a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and report on the status of opportunities during weekly sales meetings.
  • Lead the negotiation process and establish mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Deliver high-level presentations and proposals to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to create joint value propositions.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies for enhancing partnerships with strategic accounts.
