Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell loan products available through our organization.
  • Engage with potential clients to cultivate and sustain referral networks.
  • Conduct meetings with prospective clients at various locations, including their residences.
  • Make personal visits to real estate professionals, financial consultants, and other potential referral sources to generate borrower leads.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional initiatives to support personal sales efforts.
  • Achieve monthly personal production targets.
  • Process mortgage loan applications and create compelling loan proposals:
    • Assess consumer needs and recommend suitable products.
    • Originate loans that align with established program guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients:
    • Respond promptly and accurately to all customer inquiries in a professional manner.
    • Gather necessary information to process loan requests efficiently, including credit reports, income verification, appraisals, and lien searches. Analyze this information and provide insights as needed.
    • Assist applicants and resolve any issues that may arise during the application and settlement process.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends within the mortgage sector.
  • Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings, training sessions, and educational courses.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations relevant to licensed activities and adhere to the company's Code of Conduct.
Primary Stakeholders
  • Internal Stakeholders: Underwriting, Processing, Closing, Quality Assurance, Vendor Coordination, and Secondary Marketing.
  • External Stakeholder: The Borrower(s).
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Must qualify for and obtain state licensure in relevant states; mortgage licensure requires a good credit score, no tax liens, and a clean criminal background check.
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful mortgage loan origination experience.
  • A 2-year college degree is preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated sales skills and leadership capabilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to connect with individuals in a friendly and engaging manner.
  • Strong persuasive communication and selling skills.
  • High level of responsibility for completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Capability to manage a fast-paced work environment.

  • Sound decision-making skills to minimize errors.
  • Ability to delegate tasks positively with thorough follow-up.
  • Excellent oral, written, listening, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
