About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rooms Division Assistant Manager to join our team at our luxurious oceanfront resort in Maui. As a key member of our Front Desk team, you'll be responsible for supervising a given shift, directing staff, and ensuring that our guests receive the highest levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a given shift at the Front Desk and direct staff to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Welcome and register hotel guests, explain accommodations, and establish credit or method of payment.
  • Check guests out of the hotel, prepare and explain bills, and respond to a wide variety of guest requests.
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of previous hotel management experience, preferably in the front office.
  • Working knowledge of the Front Desk and Concierges services, policies, or operations, and general knowledge of Housekeeping, the hotel, and area.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Tuberculosis Clearance and Maui Liquor License.

Work Environment

The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
