Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Analytics Specialist with extensive experience in SAS and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of AML implementation within the financial sector.

Key Qualifications
  • Proficient in SAS and AML: Demonstrated expertise in configuring and customizing case management, alerts, investigations, customer risk ratings, scenarios, and workflows.
  • Development Skills: Strong background in SAS programming, including macros and stored processes, as well as orchestrating SAS data integration tasks.
  • Data Management: Hands-on experience in data integration, data cleaning, and conducting exploratory data analysis in collaboration with subject matter experts on SAS datasets.
  • Independent Solution Development: Ability to configure, customize, and develop SAS/AML solution components autonomously.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the implementation of technical SAS AML solutions while working closely with product owners and compliance SMEs.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient in producing data models and business process models, rapidly converting them into solution prototypes.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL development skills in major relational database management systems, primarily Oracle and MSSQL.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of active hands-on experience in SAS/AML implementation.
Responsibilities
  • Support existing SAS/AML solutions and play a significant role in transitioning to new AML solutions.
  • Act as a squad member to design and implement products throughout the product development life cycle (PDLC), including coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master in an Agile environment to enhance product delivery velocity.
  • Function as a cross-functional team player to meet squad needs as required.
  • Contribute to the community of practice by proactively sharing knowledge with squad members.
