Position Overview

Role Summary: In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding and supporting various teams across the store to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all departments to implement best practices and reach performance targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through effective coaching and support.
  • Work closely with the store manager to assess and fulfill the daily product needs of the store.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures accurately and safely.
  • Act as the manager on duty when required, including engaging with customers on the sales floor.
  • Facilitate the training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently.
  • Manage cash handling and banking responsibilities.
  • Lead a retail sales team to ensure customer assistance, maintain stock levels, and uphold store cleanliness.
  • Evaluate, categorize, and price donated items according to store policies and utilize ticketing software.
  • Oversee a team dedicated to donation acceptance, warehouse organization, and product movement for processing or storage.
  • Operate company vehicles safely, with a maximum weight of 26,000 GVW.
  • Sort items for recycling and storage appropriately.
  • Utilize a forklift for loading and unloading materials as needed.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and document findings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Provide courteous and respectful phone assistance.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, with hours dependent on business needs, including evenings and weekends.

  • Able to meet physical demands, including lifting 50-pound items regularly.
  • Holds a valid driving record suitable for operating fleet vehicles.
  • Experience with forklift operation is preferred, or a willingness to learn.
