Position Overview

Business Resources One is seeking a skilled Landscape Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth through effective landscape design, project estimation, and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly respond to client inquiries and leads.
  • Design and propose profitable landscape projects.
  • Meet and exceed annual personal sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit work orders for approved projects, including any necessary modifications.
  • Engage in networking activities to cultivate future client relationships.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with both past and current clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on design tasks, estimates, proposals, and work orders.
  • Effectively communicate with the operations team to ensure project success.
  • Provide monthly sales performance reports to the Director of Design.
  • Assist the operations team with material procurement as needed.
  • Participate in essential meetings, including regular one-on-one sessions with the Director of Design and team meetings.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in selling profitable landscape design and construction projects.
  • Ability to generate over $750,000 in landscape sales annually.
  • Positive and outgoing demeanor.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a related industry.
  • A 2-year degree in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or a similar field is required; a 4-year degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Realtime Landscaping Architect, Uvision, or Dynascapes.
  • Experience with estimating software like LMN, Aspire, or similar tools.
  • Strong computer skills and technological proficiency.
  • Solid understanding of hardscape construction, landscaping practices, and drainage solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to visualize and enhance landscape design elements to meet client expectations.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, with first-year earnings projected between $75,000 and $125,000. Additional benefits include:
