Position Summary:

The Field Sales Engineer will be instrumental in driving sales growth within the Louisiana and Mississippi regions, with a focus on high-potential market sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your strong communication and networking abilities to foster relationships and enhance sales growth with our clientele.
  • Prepare proposals, including performing fundamental thermal calculations to ascertain appropriate heating requirements and design effective heating solutions.
  • Efficiently oversee and manage various stages of the order cycle, including order entry, approval drawings, and material return authorizations.
  • Re-establish previous business relationships while simultaneously managing and expanding sales within a designated customer portfolio.
  • Track sales performance and bookings for assigned accounts.
  • Encourage a culture of creativity in business development approaches.
  • Participate in industry events to promote awareness of our solutions and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales or the service industry.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred; other technical degrees will also be considered.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a proven history of surpassing sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across various departments to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in problem-solving, creative thinking, and promptly addressing personnel and project-related challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
