About the Role

Famous Supply is seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a Commercial Estimator, you will play a critical role in the success of our company by preparing and assisting in pricing and bidding of construction projects in the HVAC and building products categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order entry and management
  • Document creation and management, including professional RFI and other communications to clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Preparation and assistance in pricing and bidding of construction projects
  • Calling queues, trouble queues, open order queues, and working with sales associates to communicate with customers about the status of these queues
  • Maintenance of organized processes to ensure the workflow balance of customer needs and delivery logistics
  • Completion of take-offs from mechanical blueprints

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the industry
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, and makeup air design
  • Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of prior blueprint experience
  • Previous experience using Solar Eclipse
