Position Overview

At J.W. Didado Electric, LLC, we excel in the domain of commercial and industrial electrical construction. We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee projects from the transition of estimates to the final financial closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and articulate project scope and objectives.
  • Forecast necessary resources to achieve goals and manage them efficiently.
  • Monitor project expenditures to adhere to budget constraints.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project timeline and work plan.
  • Deliver regular project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, modifications, and progress.
  • Oversee contracts with vendors and suppliers by delegating tasks and clarifying expected outcomes.
  • Implement industry best practices, methodologies, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, including owners and trade partners, on significant projects.
  • Engage in project development and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

  • A degree in construction management, business, or a related discipline is preferred, though extensive experience in electrical construction management may suffice.
  • 5-8 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management software, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven experience managing projects through all phases of the lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
