Position Overview As a Construction Service Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in directing the future of our organization. We seek a seasoned professional capable of leading our service division, managing commercial roofing initiatives, and overseeing the documentation flow, estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, job site oversight, and operational leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a solid history in sales and the capability to set objectives and targets for the team. This role demands a hands-on individual with a robust work ethic, leadership capabilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for the construction sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise the daily operations of the service division, ensuring all activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
2. Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish, guaranteeing all work meets the highest standards.
3. Plan, organize, and establish objectives and targets for the team, providing clear guidance and motivation.
4. Oversee the documentation flow, estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals, ensuring all are precise and current.
5. Act as a Site Superintendent and Construction Manager, ensuring all job sites are managed effectively and safely.
6. Drive sales within the organization, leveraging your expertise to secure new business and maintain existing relationships.
7. Implement and manage project plans, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
8. Ensure all operations are conducted legally and ethically, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
2. Proven experience in managing a service division.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing practices.
4. Excellent project management abilities.
5. Proven experience as a Site Superintendent and Construction Manager.
6. Strong sales acumen, with a demonstrated history of driving sales within an organization.
7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and set objectives and targets.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. A solid understanding of the legal and ethical considerations within the construction industry.
