Position Overview:

As a Service Operations Manager in the roofing sector, you will play a crucial role in steering the direction of our service division. We seek a seasoned professional capable of overseeing our service operations, managing commercial roofing initiatives, and supervising the documentation flow, estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals. Your responsibilities will encompass project oversight, job site administration, and operational management. The ideal candidate will possess a solid history in sales and the aptitude to set objectives and targets for the team. This role demands a hands-on individual with a robust work ethic, leadership capabilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for the construction field.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily operations of the service division, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
2. Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
3. Plan, organize, and establish clear objectives and goals for the team, providing direction and motivation.
4. Oversee the flow of documentation, estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Act as Site Superintendent and Construction Manager, ensuring effective and safe management of all job sites.
6. Drive sales growth within the organization, leveraging your expertise to secure new business and maintain existing relationships.
7. Implement and manage project plans, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
8. Ensure all operations adhere to legal and ethical standards, complying with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
2. Proven experience in managing a service department.
3. Strong understanding of commercial roofing practices.
4. Excellent project management capabilities.
5. Demonstrated experience as a Site Superintendent and Construction Manager.
6. Strong sales acumen, with a proven track record of driving sales success.
7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to plan and set objectives.
8. Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. A solid understanding of legal and ethical considerations in the construction industry.
