Role Summary:

In this role, you will assist the Enrollment Officer in overseeing, managing, and auditing all aspects of college enrollment services, which include registration, admissions, and compliance audits for state reporting.

Core Duties:

The essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing student applications for admissions, registration, data entry, tuition calculations, and online orientation.
  • Providing general information to students, faculty, staff, and community members via phone and in person.
  • Collecting and managing enrollment data, including official roll sheets, transcripts, and term activations.
  • Entering and verifying assessment scores and application information, ensuring fee payments and tuition calculations are accurate.
  • Troubleshooting and monitoring electronic systems.
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in admissions or registration within a higher education environment.
Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to organize information alphabetically.
  • Effective communication skills with a diverse population.
  • Patience and understanding when addressing student concerns.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in computer applications such as PeopleSoft, Windows, Excel, and Word.
