Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. The successful candidate will provide exceptional administrative support to multiple physicians and physician assistants, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex calendars, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records
  • Generate documents, reports, and correspondence as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, manage budgets, and process expenses
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Stay up-to-date with departmental policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Epic, and other relevant software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of medical office experience
  • Familiarity with Workday, Zoom, and other relevant systems
