  • Engage in the bidding and negotiation phases and prepare necessary addenda.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, and prepare site observation reports as part of contract administration.
  • Participate in client requirement meetings and conduct value analysis and basic cost estimating.
  • Assist in the preparation of project specifications and ensure coordination with construction documents.
  • Engage in constructability reviews and conduct quality assurance and control on assigned projects.
  • Prepare project deliverables, including Basis-of-Design reports and technical memos.
Your Key Responsibilities as Project Manager
  • Manage projects of varying sizes, from master service agreements to medium and large-scale projects of high complexity.
  • Lead project kick-offs, coordination, and meetings with internal team members and external stakeholders when a Project Architect is unavailable.
  • When collaborating with another Project Architect or Job Captain, focus on general project oversight, contract and fee management, proposal writing, progress reporting, and subconsultant invoice approvals.
  • Monthly responsibilities include assisting with staffing plans, providing project financial updates, and exploring marketing and business development opportunities.
  • Short-term travel may be required for project-related work.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accessibility codes and building regulations.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of architectural document production and the interplay between drawings and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction systems, methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to conduct space planning and block planning in alignment with building programs.
  • Proficient in developing floor plans, wall sections, and details using Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD is beneficial for cross-discipline coordination.
  • Ability to review the work of others for accuracy and completeness while managing time effectively to meet project budgets and schedules.
  • Ability to lead teams collaboratively through all phases of architectural document production, excelling in both in-person and remote coordination.
  • Capacity for creative and critical thinking.
