Job Overview

Navion Senior Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Memory Care Coordinator (Med Tech or LPN) to enhance our growing community. This role is essential for the planning, management, and support of all staffing and service requirements within our memory care unit.

Note: LPNs are highly encouraged to submit their applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Coordinator to recruit and onboard memory care personnel.
  • Oversee and guide memory care staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Facilitate orientation, monitor progress, and reinforce training for memory care staff.
  • Assist the Resident Care Coordinator and Executive Director in adhering to state regulations.
  • Complete all required documentation in accordance with Navion and state mandates.
  • Act as a member of the management team, including manager on duty responsibilities, community representation, and participation in staff meetings and events.
  • Support the creation of a care team and living environment that aligns with our Memory Care philosophy.
  • Design and implement ongoing person-centered activities and life skills programs.
Qualifications
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant diagnoses.
  • Familiarity with resources available for seniors and related agencies.
  • Understanding of the social, psychological, and recreational needs of residents with Alzheimer's and memory impairments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Exhibit a friendly and helpful demeanor at all times to ensure timely service.
  • Genuine passion for working with seniors.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Preferred experience or training in a similar environment.
  • General understanding of the needs of seniors.
  • Previous experience with Alzheimer's and memory-impaired residents is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a caring environment without posing safety or health risks.
  • Capability to manage team dynamics and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
