Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Coordinator to recruit and onboard memory care personnel.
- Supervise and guide memory care staff to ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct orientation, monitor progress, and provide ongoing training for memory care staff.
- Assist in the implementation of state regulations alongside the Resident Care Coordinator and Executive Director.
- Complete all required documentation in compliance with Navion and state mandates.
- Participate as a member of the management team, including duties such as manager on duty coverage and community representation.
- Support the creation of a cohesive care team and a nurturing living environment aligned with our Memory Care philosophy.
- Design and facilitate ongoing person-centered activities and life skills programs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience and knowledge of relevant diagnoses.
- Familiarity with resources available for seniors and related agencies.
- Understanding of the social, psychological, and recreational needs of individuals with Alzheimer's and memory impairments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Exhibit a friendly and supportive demeanor at all times.
- Genuine passion for working with seniors.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Professional appearance and conduct are essential.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous experience or training in a similar environment is preferred.
- General understanding of the needs of seniors.
- Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's and memory impairments is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Strong team management skills and the ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
