Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and effective Senior Growth Manager to join our team at PayPal. As a key member of our Growth Management, Merchant Attachment team, you will be responsible for driving growth on our latest merchant product platforms through owner of merchant onboarding, activation and product adoption.

This is a client-facing role, working with our most Strategic Partners and responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of Partner Sales and Marketing campaigns driving merchant attachment and product adoption at scale. The ideal candidate has strong sales, marketing, project management, and cross-functional planning skills.

You will work closely amongst a complex matrixed organization including Sales, Customer Success, Technical Integrations and Account Management, Legal, Contracting, Inside Sales, Database Marketing, Partner Enablement, Analytics and Sales Operations. Planning and coordinating the efforts of these teams will result in integrated end-to-end campaigns, ensuring growth in merchant adoption of PayPal solutions on our Partner's platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Manage dynamic pipeline of campaigns, coordinating execution sequencing across multiple teams for cohesive delivery of defined merchant engagement strategy.
  • Maintain reporting of pipeline status - launches, risks, delays - and performance; collaborating with business partners to understand quantitative inputs that drive qualitative measurement.
  • Identify points of opportunity to strengthen program strategy, program execution while continually focused on revenue optimization and meeting the customer's needs.
  • Understand multiple points of view (client, external customer, internal customer) to build thoughtful and scalable merchant attachment plans.
  • May require meeting with external industry leading partners to collaboratively create merchant attachment solutions.
  • Develop and maintain highly-engaged relationships with key stakeholders and executives within partner organizations to drive strategic alignment and influence key business decisions.
  • Act as one of the primary liaisons between PayPal and executive leadership at partner firms, ensuring consistent communication of strategic priorities and growth objectives.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to present compelling business cases and strategic recommendations to senior management, showcasing the impact of growth initiatives and opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Facilitate executive-level meetings and workshops to align on growth strategies, address key challenges, and identify new opportunities for joint initiatives.
  • Advocate for the needs and interests of both PayPal and its partners, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure the successful execution of strategic campaigns.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in multi-faceted roles including expansion sales, account development/customer success, marketing, project management.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport, influence, and drive results with customers and cross-functional team members.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills with the capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Superb critical thinking, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven experience presenting to external clients and senior leadership.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $82,500 to $187,990.
