Job Title: Diagnostics Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostics Systems Engineer to support our ongoing projects for a leading Aerospace company in the US. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers and leadership to assess and improve the design of complex systems to meet product requirements and customer needs. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, and providing planning and execution support to different phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineers and leadership to assess and improve system design

  • Provide planning and execution support to different phases of the project
  • Leverage physical prototypes to provide rapid feedback to the design team
  • Contribute to team direction and strategy
  • Take responsibility for continuous learning and skill development
  • Work across functional teams to support development of diagnostics and testability designs
  • Support development of diagnostics and troubleshooting strategies, testing, and analysis methods
  • Analyze designs to identify detection and isolation of faults
  • Provide support for verification and validation activities of diagnostic tests
  • Prepare presentation materials for senior management and customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with teammates
  • Entry-level knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of engineering
  • Experience with basic technical design and development of electrical and mechanical systems
Desired:
  • Ability to develop concise technical presentations and briefs
  • Ability to write reports that identify and resolve technical issues
  • Review and evaluation of electrical circuit diagrams
  • Analyzing system and subsystem designs for diagnostics deficiencies
  • Developing strategies, testing, and analysis methods for complex problems
  • Performing troubleshooting on electrical/electronic and computer assemblies
  • Conducting diagnostics analyses, including diagnostics modeling and test logic
  • Familiarity with model-based analysis tools

Pay: Up to $43.27 per hour
