  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with software vendors for updates, patches, and technical assistance.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in systems engineering.
  • Support the integration of engineering tools with other enterprise systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering software with cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cloud-based deployment and management of engineering software.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration with a focus on engineering software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Effective collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure, and security.
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management, including scaling, monitoring, and optimizing resources.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes administration, including cluster orchestration, container networking, and storage management.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization patterns.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Understanding of software deployment, configuration management, and patch management tools.
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL.

  • Experience in systems engineering processes and methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and validation.

Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and an Education Support Program. Our Paid Time Off policy allows for up to four weeks per year, along with up to 14 company-paid holidays. We also provide discretionary bonuses to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company success.
