Position Overview

This role oversees the daily functions of our finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant standards. You will be responsible for the application of accounting principles and the preparation of financial analyses, including cost management, cash flow, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the financial planning process, including annual budgets and long-term forecasts through detailed financial analysis.

• Assess and enhance business practices within Financial Planning and Budgeting, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

• Lead the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.

• Provide timely financial insights and analytics to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with the CFO to identify workforce needs and implement effective solutions for finance and accounting processes.

• Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with all financial policies and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.

• Participate in acquisitions, tax filings, system upgrades, and audits, representing the organization in regulatory matters.

• Communicate and enforce Finance and Accounting directives across all business units.

• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting.

• Focus on customer relationships, collaborating to meet their strategic needs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee indirect reports and dotted line relationships.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred; an MBA and CPA are advantageous.

Experience:

• A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience, with at least eight (8) years at a Director level or higher.

• Proven success in diverse finance and accounting leadership roles across multiple locations.

• Experience in establishing and leading finance teams in a multi-site environment.

• Familiarity with core accounting processes and finance operations.

Knowledge/Skills:

• In-depth understanding of finance and accounting principles, including GAAP.

• Strong analytical skills with a practical approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.

• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

• Comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting disciplines.
