Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care while considering the specific needs associated with the patient's age and condition
  • Administer morning care, which may involve bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, hair care, and general room upkeep
  • Provide evening care, including washing hands and faces, oral hygiene, back rubs, and linen changes
  • Prepare patients for meals, assist with serving and removing food trays, and support patients during meals as needed
  • Respond to patient call lights, anticipate needs, and conduct rounds to assigned patients
  • Assist patients with personal belongings such as dentures, glasses, and hearing aids
  • Report and document any changes in patient condition or behavior, as well as unusual incidents
  • Support licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • CPR/BCLS Certification required
  • Preferred: Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
