Responsibilities in this Role:
- Deliver patient care while considering the specific needs associated with the patient's age and condition
- Provide morning care, which may include bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, hair care, back care, changing bed linens, and maintaining cleanliness in the patient’s environment throughout the day
- Administer evening care, including washing hands and face as needed, oral hygiene, back rubs, personal care, refreshing linens, and maintaining cleanliness in the patient’s area
- Prepare patients for meals; serve and clear food trays, and assist patients with eating as necessary
- Respond to patient call lights, anticipate patient needs, and conduct rounds to assigned patients
- Assist patients with personal belongings such as dentures, glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, and prosthetic devices
- Report and document any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors, as well as any unusual incidents
- Support licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- CPR/BCLS Certification
- Preferred minimum of six months experience in an acute or long-term care facility
- Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities
