Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Deliver patient care while considering the specific needs associated with the patient's age and condition
  • Provide morning care, which may include bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, hair care, back care, changing bed linens, and maintaining cleanliness in the patient’s environment throughout the day
  • Administer evening care, including washing hands and face as needed, oral hygiene, back rubs, personal care, refreshing linens, and maintaining cleanliness in the patient’s area
  • Prepare patients for meals; serve and clear food trays, and assist patients with eating as necessary
  • Respond to patient call lights, anticipate patient needs, and conduct rounds to assigned patients
  • Assist patients with personal belongings such as dentures, glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, and prosthetic devices
  • Report and document any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors, as well as any unusual incidents
  • Support licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
  • CPR/BCLS Certification
  • Preferred minimum of six months experience in an acute or long-term care facility
  • Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities
