Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient care tasks tailored to the specific needs of patients based on their age and condition.
- Provide morning care, which may include bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, hair care, and general room upkeep.
- Deliver evening care, including washing hands and faces, oral hygiene, back rubs, and preparing linens.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding patients as necessary.
- Respond to patient call lights, anticipate needs, and conduct rounds to assigned patients.
- Help patients manage personal belongings such as dentures, glasses, and hearing aids.
- Report and document any changes in patient condition or behavior.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- CPR/BCLS Certification required.
- Preferred minimum of six months experience in an acute or long-term care facility.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
