Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care tailored to the specific needs associated with each patient's age and condition
  • Administer morning care, which may involve bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, and general room upkeep
  • Provide evening care, including washing hands and face, oral hygiene, and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment
  • Assist patients during meal times, including serving and clearing food trays
  • Respond to patient call lights, anticipate needs, and conduct regular rounds
  • Support patients in managing personal belongings such as dentures, glasses, and hearing aids
  • Document and report any changes in patient condition or behavior
  • Assist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • CPR/BCLS Certification required
  • Preferred experience of at least six months in an acute or long-term care setting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
