Position Summary
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will oversee the comprehensive administrative functions of NRG Consulting Group. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including human resources management, financial oversight, compliance with legal regulations, and fostering effective labor-management relations.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Leadership:
- Direct the daily administrative operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and a seamless workflow across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior management to contribute to strategic planning and organizational goal-setting.
Human Resources Management:
- Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, staff supervision, and consultant management.
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies and navigate various state regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive organizational policies.
- Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and manage interactions with labor unions.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the supervision of financial staff.
- Work with financial experts to create departmental budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Administer compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding charitable registration and lobbying.
- Lead contract negotiations with vendors and manage all business agreements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in administrative management, human resources, or legal compliance.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing contracts.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and manage sensitive information.
