Hospitality Internship Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Hospitality team as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to the Hospitality Curriculum Team in the day-to-day operation and functions of our award-winning College training restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring a high-quality learning and teaching experience for students.
  • Manage bookings, meet customers and clients, and support all aspects of service delivery.
  • Supervise students, handle cash receipts, and deal with customer enquiries.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service and organisational skills.
  • Engage effectively with others, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Good keyboard and ICT skills, including experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Eligibility to apply: must be or have been an Ayrshire College student within the past five years who is or has undertaken a relevant course.
