Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Hotel Resource. This individual will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our food and beverage team, ensuring exceptional customer service and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly meetings to relay information about upcoming events to staff under their supervision.
- Supply information about the capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients.
- Respond to the needs and requests of guests.
- Ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage, and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation.
- Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
- Utilize the systems for inventory, receiving, and product utilization (product cost).
- Lead by following the standards of productivity for food and beverage personnel.
- Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal team members.
- Assist with hiring and training programs for food and beverage team members.
- Assist in all food and beverage outlets with other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working at a restaurant or luxury hotel is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a 40-hour work week including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Knowledge of Micros.
- Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Pleasant and positive personality.
- Well organized.
