Job Summary:

This individual will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our food and beverage team, ensuring exceptional customer service and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly meetings to relay information about upcoming events to staff under their supervision.
  • Supply information about the capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients.
  • Respond to the needs and requests of guests.
  • Ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage, and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation.
  • Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
  • Utilize the systems for inventory, receiving, and product utilization (product cost).
  • Lead by following the standards of productivity for food and beverage personnel.
  • Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal team members.
  • Assist with hiring and training programs for food and beverage team members.
  • Assist in all food and beverage outlets with other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working at a restaurant or luxury hotel is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour work week including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Knowledge of Micros.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Pleasant and positive personality.
  • Well organized.
