Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Director to lead our facilities management team and oversee the strategic and operational management of our global offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities, and driving business growth through effective space planning and management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with OpenGov's growth and goals.
  2. Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our global facilities, ensuring an excellent experience for our team and visitors.
  3. Project Management: Manage all aspects of facilities projects, including design, construction, renovation, and relocation.
  4. Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of facilities professionals, providing training and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.

Requirements and Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of facilities leadership experience required.
  • Experience managing a team of facilities professionals.
  • Ability to prioritize and apply sound judgment.
  • Assertive, motivated, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive and takes initiative/ownership; finds problems and identifies and implements solutions.
  • Partners well with others, develops & preserves positive relationships across org(s) while juggling multiple/complex demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to receive difficult feedback/complaints, focusing on creating win/win solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Available in the office during normal working hours and available out of hours, as needed.
  • Some travel to offices required on an as-needed basis.

What We Offer

OpenGov offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $225,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including qualifications, expertise, and geographical location.
