Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of IT Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all critical IT functions at United Gaming. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach, eager to understand the business intricacies, foster both internal and external partnerships, and excel in a dynamic, solution-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and sustain all vital IT functions at United Gaming, encompassing operating systems, security measures, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Lead and execute significant IT projects and essential business initiatives, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of United Gaming.
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive IT strategies and solutions, promoting technological advancement and operational efficiency within the gaming sector.
  • Conduct thorough research and assessment of emerging technologies, hardware, and software to maintain United Gaming's competitive edge.
  • Evaluate United Gaming's IT requirements, identify potential vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Guarantee seamless integration and optimal functionality of network components, staying updated on new features and competitive offerings.
  • Continuously assess and refine existing IT processes, technologies, and vendor partnerships to uphold high service standards.
  • Establish, implement, and oversee disaster recovery protocols and maintain robust data backup systems.
  • Develop and manage cybersecurity strategies based on industry best practices.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as necessary to adapt to the evolving demands of United Gaming.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT leadership or comparable roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation, configuration, and testing of IT solutions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Exceptional creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Synchroteam, AssetTiger, BambooHR, ADP, or similar systems.
  • Must be available to work onsite at United Gaming Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
