Job Summary

As a Desktop Support Specialist at CAI, you will act as a liaison between executives and the IT Org. This role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate seamless execution of executive meetings by setting up audio-visual equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a smooth and productive meeting experience
  • Take a proactive stance in identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency. Anticipate needs and provide solutions before issues arise
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test cases and report any defects or issues to the development team promptly
  • Possess technical acumen to independently navigate and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Collaborate with the IT department when necessary to address more complex technical challenges

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical proficiency with a willingness to expand knowledge as needed
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism
  • 3 years of Desktop Support experience
  • 2 years of Audio Visual experience
  • Candidate must be comfortable and familiar with setup and troubleshooting of corporate conference room AV systems

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
