Partnership Resources, Inc. is in search of a Support Services Specialist to assist adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our community programs. Specialists play a vital role in advocating for individual preferences, promoting lifelong learning, and enhancing community involvement.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM (full-time, 40 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute activities that foster life skills and provide recreational engagement. Activities may include BINGO, karaoke, music therapy, job readiness training, arts and crafts, and social skills development.
  • Accompany individuals on outings and to volunteer opportunities, assisting them in exploring and connecting with their community in an inclusive manner.
  • Manage a caseload of individuals, ensuring consistent communication with their families or guardians, completing daily documentation, and participating in care team discussions.
  • Utilize person-centered approaches to support individuals in achieving their goals and advocating for themselves.
  • Compensation: $17.50 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided. We are dedicated to guiding individuals in exploring a new career as a Support Services Specialist or advancing their professional journey.
  • Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Must successfully pass a background check with the relevant authorities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift weights between 21-50 pounds.
  • Willingness to assist individuals with daily living activities.
  • Ability or eagerness to learn basic computer and technology skills.
  • This role does not involve transporting individuals.
