Position Overview

Pinnacle Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Individual Support Specialists. In this role, you will work closely with clients in their residences and within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in achieving personalized goals that foster autonomy and self-sufficiency.
  • Engage in a variety of tasks including meal preparation, community engagement, and household management.
  • Support clients in securing and maintaining employment opportunities in the community.
  • This part-time position offers a chance to develop a career in social services and healthcare.
Work Schedule

The selected candidate will collaborate with the Program Manager/Program Director to establish a flexible schedule that may include morning, daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

Reporting Structure

The Individual Support Specialist will report directly to the Program Manager and will spend time assisting clients with diverse needs in their homes.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15/hour

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as per Pinnacle Services policy.
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance are essential for success in this role.
  • Must pass a DHS background check.
  • Ideal candidates will exhibit patience, compassion, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients are crucial.
Preferred Experience

Experience in a personalized one-on-one support setting, particularly with individuals who have mental and developmental disabilities, is highly valued.

  • All job offers are contingent upon a cleared DHS background check and a clean driving record.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates.
Compensation Details
