This role is designed for those who can commit to working 48 hours biweekly during night shifts, including weekends as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

The Anesthesia Support Specialist will play a vital role within the anesthesia team, assisting certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), anesthesiologists, and anesthesia residents in the care of patients undergoing general or regional anesthesia. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a safe and organized environment for patient care.
  • Ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Supporting anesthesia procedures in various settings, including operating rooms and other designated areas.
  • Managing supply levels and facilitating the transport of blood specimens and products.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while fulfilling individual duties.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize diverse tasks.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in anesthesia is advantageous.
