Job Summary

The YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our School Age program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants, and providing a high-quality educational experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Oversee the daily operations of the program, including staff supervision, participant supervision, and program planning.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support a team of staff members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to provide a high-quality program.
  • Participant Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Program Planning: Develop and implement high-quality program activities that align with the goals and policies of the YMCA and the school district.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with families, school personnel, and district partners to ensure positive relationships and a high-quality educational experience.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage all administrative duties for the site, including budget management, monthly paperwork, attendance management, and other contractual and compliance duties.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of 1-4 years working in a child and youth development, education, or comparable setting.
  • Qualifications: Must meet minimum qualifications for a highly qualified Classroom Assistant/Instructional Aide in the district in which the assigned school operates.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work with diverse populations, and experience with program planning and implementation.
  • Certifications: CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, and fingerprint clearance from DOJ/FBI required prior to working.
