Senior Manager of Sales Engagement

CircleCI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Sales Engagement to lead our sales engagement team in driving high-quality lead generation and sustaining optimal engagement across our target accounts.
About the RoleThe Senior Manager of Sales Engagement will be responsible for architecting and executing the strategy that defines how our company engages with leads digitally. This includes controlling the vision, implementation, and management of innovative lead generation initiatives, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to streamline engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Engagement experts focused on utilizing data and AI tools to maximize prospect engagement and development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create highly effective campaigns that generate qualified leads, driving them into the buyer's journey.
- Analyze data insights to optimize engagement strategies and tactics, continuously refining our approach based on performance metrics and testing outcomes.
- Develop and implement best practices for digital engagement, ensuring alignment with broader sales strategies.
- Partner with sales leadership to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads, establishing clear guidelines for engagement and follow-up.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to introduce innovative practices, digital tools, and technologies that enhance lead generation efforts.
- Proven experience in a sales, sales development or marketing role, specifically in B2B environments, with a focus on SaaS products.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies.
- A track record of building and managing high-performing teams that effectively use technology in sales processes, preferably with experience in the use of AI tooling.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging audiences ranging from executives to technical teams.
- A strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, adept at synthesizing insights to drive continuous improvement.
- An understanding of technical audiences, the software development lifecycle, particularly CI/CD practices, and how they relate to customer engagement strategies.
