Role ImpactWe are in search of a talented Customer Engagement Marketing Specialist to assist in the formulation and implementation of comprehensive customer engagement strategies. This role will focus on enhancing initial and repeat conversions, as well as retention and growth initiatives.
Your primary objective will be to foster loyalty and advocacy among our expanding customer base. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in email marketing, a curiosity to explore new channels, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. You will play a pivotal role in defining and executing essential email marketing strategies throughout the customer journey, aiming to maximize customer lifetime value (LTV).
You will report directly to the Senior Customer Engagement Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a roadmap for A/B testing to enhance each phase of the customer journey, including onboarding, engagement, and retention.
- Refine email nurturing programs to accelerate the transition of first-time customers into loyal users.
- Analyze and report on critical channel metrics and business performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the marketing communications team to utilize new features, case studies, testimonials, and quotes in customer engagement campaigns.
- Maintain effective and productive relationships with product marketing, product management, and engineering teams to ensure accurate and meaningful messaging of programs and product updates.
- Enhance customer loyalty and referral marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, and Content & Creative teams to bring campaigns to fruition.
- Stay informed about email marketing best practices and industry trends.
- Utilize marketing automation tools (such as Marketo, Drift, and Salesforce) to create automated campaigns that deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.
- 5-7 years of experience in customer marketing, ideally within a digital manufacturing or eCommerce environment that supports enterprise sales.
- Proven experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional email marketing campaigns.
- Direct experience with marketing automation platforms, with a strong preference for Marketo.
- A track record of successfully engaging customers and developing effective marketing programs.
- Understanding of audience segmentation through profile attribution and content/channel engagement.
- Basic knowledge of integrated marketing technology stacks and data flow between CRM, Business Intelligence Platforms, and Automation Tools.
- Expertise in segmentation, list management, and email marketing best practices.
- Experience in implementing and measuring A/B testing.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on effective collaboration and cross-functional coordination.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the mechanical engineering persona and the buyer journey is preferred.
