Job Overview

The Presales Manager for Digital Workplace Solutions will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling propositions and solutions tailored for various Workplace Solutioning opportunities across North America.

This position entails providing comprehensive technical solutions while engaging in solution discussions with clients, collaborating closely with the Onsite Sales team, Sales Leaders, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, Solutioning experts, and End User Computing Architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Over 10 years of experience in IT, predominantly in Infrastructure services and management.
  • Focus on defining client requirements and delivering tailored propositions/solutions to address diverse client needs, particularly in major end-user computing infrastructure projects.
  • Lead presales initiatives for End User Computing services, scoping complex IT programs and developing high-level business cases.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support bid processes and generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and select approaches and standards that align with client challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level, responsible for delivering critical business solutions to enterprise-scale organizations.
  • Familiarity with end-user computing solutions across various business and IT functions, including knowledge of vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and desktop migration technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering value through complex, large-scale solutions from business case development to project review.
  • In-depth understanding of technology stacks and emerging innovations in the marketplace.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in aligning business needs, functional requirements, and technical solutions.
  • Thorough knowledge of Public Cloud Architecture and its integration with on-premise solutions.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Messaging, and Application Services.
  • Extensive domain knowledge in End User Computing and Service Desk, with rich experience in solution design for End User Projects and Managed Services.
  • Proficient in key technologies such as VDI, SCCM, and Microsoft Platforms related to end-user computing.
  • Strong grasp of Desktop Virtualization concepts, including planning, consulting, architecting, and implementing various models.
  • Exceptional pre-sales skills, customer interaction capabilities, and fluency in communication are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients for technical discussions are crucial.
  • Rich experience in handling discussions at the CXO level, positioning solutions effectively, and demonstrating excellent presentation skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of creating complex EUC solutions, with a history of developing solutions in response to client requests during the RFP/RFI process.
