Position Overview
This role involves the continuous monitoring, assessment, and evaluation of programs and policies related to the Department of the Navy's (DON) Critical Infrastructure and Mission Assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the cyber resilience of control systems, particularly facility-related control systems, is integrated into policy frameworks.
- Conduct utility and cyber assessments, as well as condition assessments, to establish standards for system efficiency and reliability.
- Identify mitigation options and prioritize global recapitalization requirements.

Program Participation
- Engage in Mission Assurance program initiatives to evaluate the coordination of critical infrastructure and energy security within the DON Mission Assurance framework.
- Provide advanced technical expertise and program analysis to stakeholders, aiding in the identification, prioritization, and justification of essential programming requirements.

Employment Conditions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- Successful completion of the E-Verify employment verification check is required for new employees.

Qualifications
- Candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience should include interpreting policy and program requirements, developing program plans, and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with critical infrastructure protection and mission assurance programs, including asset identification, vulnerability assessments, and contingency planning, is essential.
