Job Title: Department Manager

Lincoln Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Train and develop operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job effectively.
  • Ensure that all production staff follow safety and environmental procedures.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct supervision/leadership experience.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and define problems.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 75lbs.
Working Conditions:

The Department Manager will work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to uncomfortable conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, dust, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be required.
