Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Multinational Program Coordinator (MPC) in managing a portfolio of property reverse-flow business; interpret directives from global partners and issue compliant local standard policies in alignment with regional insurance regulations.
  • Support the MPC in policy bookings, follow up on pending premiums, and execute related administrative tasks.
  • Engage proactively with network partners and colleagues through various communication channels to ensure streamlined processes and adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Multinational Client Services to enhance and oversee Starr's Multinational Communication Platform; identify opportunities for improvements to elevate user experience for Starr's stakeholders, brokers, and clients.
  • Contribute to the management of the Multinational Insurance Rules & Regulations database within the Starr Communication Platform, monitoring performance metrics by network office and conducting biannual assessments.
  • Oversee the utilization of the Starr Multinational Communication Platform by our Network Issuing Offices, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate demonstrations of the capabilities of the Multinational Communication Platform to other Lines of Business within the organization, understanding their distinct workflows and how the platform can be tailored to meet their needs.
  • Assist in the administration of the Axco suite of products available to Starr, fostering internal awareness of new offerings and coordinating training sessions as necessary.
  • Support the development and management of the Starr Multinational Business portal to ensure global consistency across Starr's operations.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A keen interest in collaborating with international stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proactive and eager attitude towards learning.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A meticulous attention to detail.
  • The capability to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation: For individuals assigned to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is legally required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The estimated wage range for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000, taking into account various factors such as skills, experience, and organizational needs.
