Your Role: As a Financial Services Advisor, you will engage with potential clients, both individual and corporate, to cultivate a thriving practice within the financial services landscape. The most successful advisors are those who excel at building relationships and transforming them into fruitful business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and network with prospective clients
  • Facilitate and finalize sales transactions
  • Provide ongoing service to existing clients
  • Prepare and present analytical reports
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings
  • Engage in personal and professional growth through self-study and continuing education, including the pursuit of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation

Qualifications: To succeed as a Financial Services Advisor at Equitable Advisors, you should possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with confidence, determination, and a high level of personal integrity. These qualities enable you to quickly establish trust and foster the relationships necessary for building a client base. Our Financial Services Advisors come from diverse professional backgrounds, including sales, banking, and engineering. It is essential to leverage your existing knowledge and networks to enhance your career as a Financial Services Representative.

Specific Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • If relocation is necessary, candidates must possess one of the following FINRA licenses: L&H, S63, SIE, S7 prior to the initial interview. We recommend obtaining the S63, which typically requires 1-2 weeks to complete.
  • Local candidates must have at least one license obtained independently to be considered for an offer.
