Intensive Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, utilizing critical thinking skills and effective communication to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and maximizing available resources.
- Monitor and document patient condition, communicating effectively with healthcare teams and families.
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- One year of nursing experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
- PALS certification required for Pediatric areas, with the exception of NICU.
- NRP certification required for NICU, with 30 days from date of hire to obtain.
- Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs must be completed prior to completion of job orientation.
