Account Manager Job Description

Archer Mechanical & Maintenance Inc. is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Building Services Department, you will be responsible for managing new and existing customer relationships, providing solutions to current problems, and discussing equipment service and maintenance procedures with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and retain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Provide customers with pricing options for HVAC preventative maintenance, emergency service, equipment replacements, and building upgrades
  • Evaluate problematic systems or facilities, and determine what maintenance or repair services are needed for them to function properly
  • Maintain and grow preventative maintenance accounts
  • Provide support to our Plumbers & HVAC Technicians as needed
  • Work with existing customers to identify current problems and provide solutions
  • Discuss equipment service and maintenance procedures with clients
  • Keep updated on industry trends and technologies to better serve and advise customers
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas as set by the organization
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales environment
  • Experience managing multiple clients
  • Knowledge and experience with building automation systems is a plus
  • Possession of a current and valid Utah Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the mechanical/HVAC industry (Preferred, but not required)
  • Effective time management skills
