Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting entries, month-end close entries, and SUSA Accounting key contact; Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • Liaise with SUSA Legal, track and warehouse contracts, and manage project approvals.
  • Lead internal controls, project management, testing, and action plan governance, including annual control campaigns and OpCo audits.
  • Oversee Concur champion, request approval coordinator, and T&E approver.
  • Manage regulatory accounting, including branch licenses, personal property taxes, registrations, and census.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors and financial institutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
  • Career-minded, seeking an opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to the company's growth.
Work Environment:
  • Full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and performing deskwork.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and reaching during meetings and other work-related activities.
  • Vision abilities required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus for reviewing documents.
