Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, this role will deliver strategic Human Resource initiatives that support the organization's goals, objectives, and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned divisions, providing guidance on talent management, organizational design, role definition, career development, compensation, management and leadership mentoring, and change management.
  • Proactively support the delivery of Human Resources talent processes, procedures, and strategies by understanding the needs of assigned divisions and creating talent strategies that meet current and future needs.
  • Act as an Employee Relations Coach and advisor for field leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, leave of absence, talent management, recruitment, employee policy enforcement, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, compliance with state and federal regulations, investigations, and compensation.
  • Facilitate the consistent application, implementation, and improvement of Human Resource policies, processes, and programs, including merit and promotion planning, performance management, employee relations, career development, etc.
  • Support the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational priorities and goals, including input and influence in policy and practice generation.
  • Participate in various Human Resource training for Executive Directors and Department Heads.
  • Identify trends and themes across assigned divisions and recommend strategies to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Partner with Center of Excellence (COE) Support functions (Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation and Organizational Development) at the corporate office to leverage functional expertise and implement new practices/programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10-15 years of progressive responsibility in Human Resources/Organizational Development.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment while building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Excellent consulting and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Facilitation skills and experience.
  • Strong organizational, motivational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Working knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws.
