Job Summary

The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. This role will provide support to the Employee Health Office and contribute to the overall success of CharterCARE Health Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support employee onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and providing orientation.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including processing benefits enrollments and changes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the HR department.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working in Human Resources preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
  • Experience with Oracle a plus.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage competing projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to organizational change.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Working Conditions

This role will be performed in a normal office setting, requiring long periods of visually examining documents and viewing computer screens. The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs is required, as well as the ability to bend, stretch, and use tools and ladders. This role meets all safety requirements associated with CharterCARE Health Partners facilities.
