Your Role:

The Field Service Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying potential leads and nurturing relationships while representing our company at client locations. This position involves hands-on work with customer instruments, adhering to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality protocols. Expect travel commitments of up to 75%, requiring a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installation, qualification, routine maintenance, and repairs of instruments at client sites.
  • Manage administrative duties including service scheduling, documentation, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with a broader customer-facing team, including Customer Care, Service Sales, and Account Managers.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a background in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or related STEM fields. This experience can stem from a Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, military service, or equivalent technical education.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with calibrated tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure a superior customer experience.

Travel and Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates travel, including potential overnight stays, primarily within the domestic market, with occasional international trips. Candidates must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs and perform various physical activities such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs.

Additional Experience:

Experience in environments adhering to Good Practice (GxP) guidelines, strong IT skills in Networking and Automation, and knowledge of electronics and electricity are advantageous.
