Job Summary:

Carrot Medical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our medical equipment is functioning properly and that our customers are satisfied with our service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Satisfaction: Identify, resolve, and escalate customer issues in a timely manner, providing clear communication and involving appropriate resources as needed.
  • Initiative: Manage your schedule effectively, volunteer for additional assignments, and take initiative to proactively contact customers and offer assistance to peers.
  • Compliance: Maintain proper site and service documentation, safeguard patient data, and follow established quality and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate Degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably in field service, and/or healthcare service.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, basic working electrical knowledge, and ability to read and interpret schematics, CAD drawings, and other site drawings.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

May be required to work 24/7, travel to customer sites, and lift up to 40 lbs. of test equipment. Ability to work in unusual positions and adapt to changing demands.
