Warming Center Program Coordinator

Columbus House is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Warming Center Program Coordinator. This Seasonal Part-time FLSA Non-Exempt position is based in Hamden, CT and reports directly to the Director of New Haven Emergency Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create strength-based person-centered approaches to support clients
  • Provide linkages to social, mental health, educational, vocational, recreational, transportation, spiritual, and/or substance use services
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other agencies and social service providers

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in human services or a similar field. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required, as well as strong written and oral communication skills employing the English language.

Salary Range: $25 per hour

This is a Seasonal Part-time FLSA Non-Exempt position, Monday – Friday 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with on-call responsibility. If you are passionate about making a difference in your community and possess excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.
